On February 7, DeNA announced its financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025. The company reported a revenue of 116.8 billion yen (approximately $771 million), a 12.1% increase compared to the same period last year, and an operating profit of 20.9 billion yen (approximately $138 million).
Among its business segments, the gaming division—which includes mobile apps, streaming services, and Mobage—saw significant growth. Revenue rose by 29.4% year-over-year to 50.6 billion yen (approximately $334 million), while segment profit (calculated after deducting costs, selling expenses, and general administrative expenses) skyrocketed by 8,127% to 21 billion yen (approximately $139 million). This unprecedented increase was largely driven by the success of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, released on October 30, 2024.
Looking ahead, DeNA expects substantial year-over-year growth in both revenue and profit for its gaming business.
