This Season’s Anime Opening Dance Is the Talk of Japan for All the Wrong Reasons!

crazynews

The opening animation of a Japanese anime has sparked widespread discussion in Japan due to its unusual and peculiar dance choreography. The anime, based on the manga Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms (Japanese: 黒岩メダカに私の可愛いが通じない), has caught the attention of anime fans and critics alike.

Originally serialized in May 2021, the manga follows the story of Mona Kawai, a high school girl who tries to win over the stoic transfer student Medaka Kuroiwa in this romantic comedy. Despite Mona’s efforts, Medaka remains unimpressed, leading to a humorous and heartwarming narrative.

The opening animation has already surpassed 250,000 views on YouTube within a short period. The choreography, however, has been described by many as bizarre and has left viewers both amused and bewildered.

Viewer Comments:
I can’t believe this is an anime in 2025.
I was surprised that there are such low-quality anime in Japan as well.
This feels like clever stealth marketing by an anime company.
The body proportions of all the girls look the same.
It looks like an upside-down insect.
