On March 4, a 4-year-old boy from Wisconsin called the police after getting upset that his mom ate his ice cream. In response to the emergency call, officers arrived at the home, where the boy demanded that his mom be sent to jail.
According to the call records, the boy told the police, "She is a bad mom" and asked them to arrest her. The mother admitted to eating her son's ice cream and explained that he called the police because of it.
Officers visited the home to ensure there were no serious issues beyond the ice cream incident. The boy confirmed that his mom ate his ice cream and repeated his request to send her to jail. However, he eventually dropped the "charges" and told the officers he just wanted to eat some ice cream.
Two days later, the officers made a surprise visit and brought the boy two cups of ice cream topped with blue sprinkles.
