Fireworks Explosion During Chinese New Year Celebration in China

crazynews
A fire broke out during a Chinese New Year celebration in Nanning, a city in southern China. The incident was triggered by a traditional Chinese performance known as Da Shu Huo, where molten iron is flung into the air to create a dazzling shower of sparks. However, the flying sparks ignited nearby objects, quickly engulfing an elephant-shaped decoration in flames.

Fireworks displays were set off in grand fashion across China to mark the Lunar New Year. However, in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, even before the official celebrations began, a massive fireworks explosion widespread panic. The explosion occurred at a fireworks shop during its peak sales period, reducing most of the store's stock to ashes.

Authorities suspect that the large inventories being stored ahead of the festivities contributed to multiple fireworks shops catching fire on the same day, resulting in a series of blazes.
