A 36-year-old man from Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, developed severe health problems due to consuming large amounts of baijiu—a traditional Chinese distilled liquor—almost daily for work-related social events.
He started showing symptoms such as shortness of breath, nausea, and yellowing of the skin. When he was examined at a hospital, doctors were shocked to discover that his blood had turned dark green.
For nearly a year, he had been drinking over 500ml of baijiu almost every day. He was diagnosed with acute viral hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease, diabetic ketoacidosis, and hyperlipidemia.
He underwent treatment with double filtration plasmapheresis (DFPP). After two weeks of treatment, he was discharged from the hospital, vowing never to drink again.

I guess my blood is red because I drink wine.
Drinking that much distilled liquor every day is insane.
I wonder how it even turns green like that.
