Man Arrested for Posting Inappropriate Fake Messages as “God Dad” on Internet Forum

crazynews
A 29-year-old man, Yutaro Umeda, has been arrested for disrupting a business after posting fake messages on an internet forum under the alias “God Dad.”

According to police, in August last year, Umeda posted false messages on an online forum using the name “God Dad.” His posts included inappropriate and unsettling statements such as, “My daughter is 5 years old, would anyone come to see her at a bathing facility?” and “As long as you don’t do anything she dislikes, you can do whatever you want.

These posts caused significant disruption at Arimatsu Hot-Spring, a bathing facility in Obu City. The facility was forced to install a “No Mixed Bathing” sign, prohibiting shared use by men and women, and had to handle numerous inquiries from concerned individuals, severely affecting its operations.

Upon investigation, police confirmed that Umeda is unmarried and does not have a daughter, making the posts entirely fabricated. He even fabricated follow-up comments, pretending to be other customers, with statements like, “I met her. I didn’t think it would escalate this far.”

During questioning, Umeda admitted to the charges and explained his motive, saying, “I was happy that so many people reacted to my fake posts.”

Viewer Comments:
Seriously, getting arrested for something like this and losing your job? That’s way too embarrassing…
Faking comments to support his own posts seems like an unhealthy obsession.
Wait, he doesn’t even have a wife or kids?
I can kind of understand why he thought it was fun to stir things up like that — it must have been fun for him to garner reactions like a pervert.
