A pair of Japanese tourists in their 20s were detained by Chinese authorities and later deported after taking indecent photos at the Great Wall of China, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
According to multiple sources, the incident took place in early January at the Great Wall in Beijing. A Japanese man visiting China as a tourist exposed his backside, while a Japanese woman accompanying him took a photo.
Security personnel detained them on the spot, and they were held for about two weeks by Chinese authorities for violating public security laws. The Japanese embassy in China assisted and met with them. During questioning, they reportedly said it was just a prank. Following their detention, the two were deported and returned to Japan.
A Chinese tourist commented, "They deserved to be detained. It’s bad manners. If such behavior isn’t stopped, it damages China’s dignity."
In China, exposing body parts in public is considered a violation of public order and may be punishable under public security laws.

They should spread the photo of their butts so no one ever does this again.
Japan’s HENTAI culture should stay in Japan, not be brought to other countries.
It’s obvious that they were just causing a nuisance, but they were detained for two weeks. That’s surprising.
