A study published in the American Medical Association’s open-access journal found that engaging in at least 150 minutes (2.5 hours) of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise, such as brisk walking or cycling, per week leads to significant weight loss.
Researchers conducted a meta-analysis of previous studies and found that for every 30 minutes of aerobic exercise per week, participants lost an average of 0.5 kg. This effect was cumulative, with 150 minutes of exercise leading to an average weight loss of 2.8 kg, and 300 minutes resulting in a 4.2 kg reduction.
In addition to weight loss, waist circumference and body fat percentage also showed a decrease as exercise time increased. In conclusion, researchers concluded that at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise per week is necessary for effective weight loss.

It takes time to gain fat, so of course, it takes time to lose it too.
I can’t live without Coke, so I think I need to exercise more.
I think the quality of exercise matters too.
