In December 2024, a 34-year-old man was arrested in Tokyo’s Shinjuku Ward for allegedly breaking into the home of a teenage woman multiple times and attempting to steal her underwear.
The suspect had been watching the victim at a café where she worked. He secretly memorized the passcode to the café’s office door, entered the room, and searched through her bag. He then noted the serial number and manufacturer of her house key, as well as her home address from her driver’s license. Using this information, he ordered a duplicate key online and used it to enter her home approximately ten times over two months.
During questioning, the man partially denied the charges but admitted, “I liked how bright and clean her room was.” He also confessed to making around 20 duplicate keys using similar methods, adding, “I wasn’t trying to steal anything—I just wanted to see what kind of underwear she wore.”
Police suspect he may have broken into other women’s homes as well and are continuing their investigation.

This guy’s way too committed to his desires.
I gotta admit, his memory is pretty impressive.
He must be a modern-day Ninja.
