On the 15th, the Hiratsuka Police arrested a 52-year-old care manager from Hadano City on suspicion of property damage. The suspect is accused of contaminating three water bottles (worth approximately 3,200 yen) belonging to a female dietitian in her 20s who works at a welfare facility in Hiratsuka City, with his own urine and saliva. The incident occurred between October 24th and 26th of last year. The two individuals were coworkers at the same facility.
According to the police, the suspect admitted to the crime, stating, "I committed the crime. I didn’t like the woman."
The woman noticed that the contents of her water bottles had a strange color and smell. After setting up a camera in the office, the footage showed the man pouring urine into the bottles. The police later confirmed that the bottles contained the man’s urine and saliva.
