Fighter Jet Accidentally Bombs Residential Area During U.S.-South Korea Military Drill

crazynews
On March 6, the United States and South Korea announced they will conduct their annual joint military exercise, "Freedom Shield," from March 10 to 20. This will be the first large-scale U.S.-South Korea exercise under the second Trump administration. The exercise will incorporate scenarios reflecting changes in North Korea’s tactics and military capabilities as it strengthens ties with Russia.

As part of the Freedom Shield exercise, U.S. and South Korean forces conducted a joint drill in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, north of Seoul, on March 6. During the drill, a South Korean Air Force fighter jet accidentally dropped eight bombs on residential areas, injuring 15 people. Military officials are investigating the incident, believing it was caused by the pilot entering incorrect target coordinates.

They started a war in their own country.
Eight bombs? That’s way too many. How does a mistake like that even happen?
A pay cut won’t be enough to hold the pilot accountable.
