In Bolivia, three traffic accidents occurred within a month on the same road, resulting in a total of 81 deaths. The incidents took place on a mountainous road in the Andes, connecting Potosí and Oruro.
In February, a traffic accident claimed 29 lives. On March 2, two tour buses collided, killing 37 people and injuring 40 others. The following day, a bus and car collided, causing the bus to plunge off a cliff, resulting in at least 15 deaths. Nineteen injured passengers were taken to a hospital in Potosí.
According to police, the number of fatalities from these accidents is the highest recorded during Bolivia's Carnival season this year. They are trying to prevent it from happening again.
Viewer Comments:
The road must be extremely winding.
The drivers were probably distracted by the Carnival excitement.
It’s like a deadly road—completely cursed.
